Harrison Potts, seo specialist at Improve and Grow

Harrison is an On-Site SEO Specialist. In this position, he assists the Digital Marketing Services team in growing client online presence. He executes SEO audits, optimizing on-page content, conducting keyword research, remedying technical SEO issues, and much more. His previous experience in digital marketing includes page optimization, keyword research, and content development. When he’s not helping clients gain digital exposure, he can be found playing trumpet or guitar and spending time with family and friends (or his cats).

I would go to New Zealand to visit the locations where Lord of the Rings was filmed (most of all, The Shire).
Growing up in a digital age, you notice a lot of trends when it comes to a brand’s online presence and how businesses stay relevant with online audiences and search engines (especially through social media marketing). After taking a digital marketing course my final semester of college, I accrued an interest in digital marketing that has gotten me to where I am today as a marketer.
The best advice I can give is to illustrate your attention to detail to the team. With a keen eye for the fine details and a strong sense of confidence in what you do, you are sure to leave a lasting impression.
When I’m not optimizing client content, I am usually playing guitar or spending time with family and friends (or with my cats).
My biggest core value is one that resonates with the core of Improve and Grow: strive to be more efficient (improve and grow!). Whether it’s learning an instrument, a new life skill, or marketing best practices and processes, I always strive to set my self up to be the best version of myself that I can be.
Movie director (I think there’s still a shot)
I didn’t have a mainstay one, but sometimes people called me Harry or HP.
Chicago Music Exchange because they have a legendary collection of guitars.
Improve and Grow has been nothing but an extremely informative, helpful and friendly company to work for and I am so happy that I get to work with a crew that cares so much about their job.
